Biography
Louise Hu, performing as Dimmalou, is a Dutch–Chinese DJ, producer, vocalist and singer-songwriter. At age six she sang in a Dutch choir, performing for Queen Beatrix and on an international show in Prague.
While studying at the music school in Rotterdam she collaborated with Kempi and other Dutch artists.
Her breakthrough came with the featured single Sin Compromiso, which surpassed one million streams and entered the Viral 50 Netherlands and the Dutch radio ‘Tip Parade’.
Versatile as a songwriter, DJ and producer, her Asian and Dutch roots shape her artistic perspective. In 2022 she released 18 records and her covers of S&M and Unwritten each exceeded one million streams.
Choir training, notable collaborations and a multifaceted practice have contributed to her growing presence on the electronic scene.
