
Christina Salti
Biography
Christina Salti was born on 20 October 1983 in Athens and came to public attention in 2006 by participating in the second season of the TV show Dream Show The Music.
Her musical universe is associated with Greek pop and dance as well as laïko, a popular Greek genre.
Born and raised in Athens, she is the daughter of Italian-origin parents from Agrinio. From a young age she studied music and singing; her grandfather was a violinist. She studied Italian literature at the University of Athens, obtained a diploma in singing and musical theatre, and began studies in classical singing.
Christina has collaborated with Kati Garbi, Helena Paparizou, Christos Dantis, Themis Adamantidis and Tamta, reflecting her place in the Greek music scene.
Her latest single, Siga, achieved significant radio success while its video accumulated a very large number of views on YouTube.
Panik Records, unable to present Eleni Foureira, turned to Christina; her candidacy was sent to ERT. She declared herself very happy, but she was not retained.
