Made of Light
Biography
Made of Light brings together two members: Matteo (composer) and CSC (DJ and producer). Childhood friends from Turin, they have made music together since their earliest years.
Their musical path evolved from italo dance to techno. Their first records, released under the pseudonym Dejoint, included several commercial dance tracks; they later produced several chill-out pieces under the name Progressive Orchestra.
The movement that left the greatest mark on them is ‘Mediterranean progressive’, which exploded in the mid-1990s in Italy — more precisely in Turin, their hometown — and whose sound deeply influenced their conception of music.
Elements characteristic of ‘Mediterranean progressive’ appear in all their compositions; for this reason, in 2008, under the name Made of Light, they decided to dedicate the project to their love of progressive trance.
In 2021, Lele Luzi joined the project alongside CSC and Matteo, after years of collaboration and a strong harmony both in terms of projects and friendship.
