The Kolors
Biography
The Kolors are an Italian band formed in 2010. They consist of singer and guitarist Stash Fiordispino, his cousin Alex Fiordispino on drums and percussion, and Daniele Mona on synthesizers and percussion.
They started out playing numerous concerts; their first video, I Don't Give a Funk, was broadcast on MTV New Generation. They then toured across Europe, opening for Paolo Nutini, The Gossip and Hurts, and served as special guests for Atoms For Peace’s show in Rome.
The year 2015 was a turning point: after appearing on the Italian talent show “Amici”, they released the album “OUT”, which was certified four times platinum. The album set a record by remaining at number one on the Italian charts for more than two months and became the third best-selling album in Italy in 2015.
The hit single Everytime, also certified platinum and amassing millions of online views, was used as the soundtrack for Vodafone Italia commercials featuring Bruce Willis for over a year.
In July 2015, The Kolors began a full tour across Italy. In September they played to more than 11,000 people at the Milan EXPO, were named “Best Italian Act” at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone Italia.
In 2016 the band won several awards and performed two sold-out concerts in Rome and Milan. They were also chosen by The 1975 to open their concert in Rome.
Subsequently, The Kolors split their time between Milan, London and Los Angeles to work on new sounds and prepared their return in 2017.
