Cassey Doreen
Biography
Cassey Doreen, real name Doreen Großmann, is a DJ and producer from Dresden now based in Cologne. She has been active in electronic music for a decade and has established herself as an international figure on the DJ scene.
Her approach behind the decks is described as wild, sexy and different. She regularly tours Europe — with appearances in Ibiza, Turkey, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Austria — and relies on her charisma and interaction with the crowd to make each night explosive and memorable.
Alongside her DJ career she developed a production activity: her first single, Girls Just Want to Have Fun (a cover of Cyndi Lauper) released in 2010, achieved significant success on the dance charts. She followed with further tracks and covers, including Like a Virgin (Madonna) and I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Whitney Houston), as well as original compositions.
She has also collaborated with other artists, notably releasing a single in 2012 with Latin dance star Loona and another in 2014 with 90s hip-hop group Down Low. Her productions are regularly played in clubs worldwide.
