MORRIS worked as a DJ in several clubs in Bucharest for four years, where he made many friendships; one of them became in 2008 a professional partnership when he teamed up with producers PLAY & WIN, three composers born in Alba Iulia and based in Constanța, who dominated the European charts with Inna’s singles Hot and Love. In the summer of 2008 the ROTON label released his first single, Till The Morning Light, which quickly became a club and radio hit.

In early 2009, wanting to prove he was more than a fleeting success, MORRIS released Desire; the video, featuring several young women, showcased his versatility as both singer and DJ. The track achieved huge success abroad, being played by stations in Russia, Poland and Spain, and the triumph of his first two singles firmly established MORRIS as an artist, his performances praised by critics and audiences.
