Nanobii
Biography
Nanobii, real name Linus Karlsson, is a Swedish producer based in Sweden, known for creating very joyful, energetic and lush electronic music, often described as high-energy dance music.
His musical style is deeply marked by 2000s nostalgia — 128 kbps MP3s, flip phones and low-resolution wallpapers — and he obsessively recreates the music that defined his adolescence.
His career truly took off in 2014 with his breakout track Rainbow Road. Since then he has toured the globe, headlining raves in cities such as Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris and London.
Initially his productions were in the happy hardcore realm with 8-bit influences; over the years he drew more from his teenage memories. He also releases under several aliases and side projects, notably Linus from the Stars, FantastixX and Crown Town, the latter a collaboration with actor, artist and singer Aubrey Postier.
