Holy Molly

Biography

Holy Molly, born Maria Alexandra Florea, is a Romanian singer, songwriter and musician, born on 11 January 1996.

She began her music career in 2010 under the stage name Miss Mary and reinvented herself in 2019 as Holy Molly.

Supported by a fan community drawn to her magnetic voice and sincere lyrics, she achieved international breakthrough with tracks like Shot a Friend, which went gold and reached number one on radio charts in Poland and the CIS. Other releases such as Menage a Trois (in collaboration with Lizot), Back to Her and Twinkle Twinkle confirmed her success; in Poland, Sunday Night reached number three on the national radio charts.

In Romania she consolidated her dominance with Plouă (featuring Tata Vlad), a radio number one, and Totul meu (with ADI), also a radio number one and the most used track on TikTok in 2023.

That same year her first EP Liliac offered an initial dive into her artistic world, announcing a broader vision that materialized in 2025 with the album PULS, which she describes as “the album that changed her life.” Presented as a sonic map of emotions, it is a confession organized into a cycle of four acts: I. « Minciuna », II. « Decăderea şi adevărul », III. « Speranța », IV. « PULS ».

The ten tracks form a journey from fragility to courage and rebirth, balancing ballads with energetic rhythms. The album features collaborations that enrich her emotional palette, notably Camera mea with Deliric, Umbra ta with Calinacho and Rugăciunea ta with Satoshi. PULS is an invitation to feel, a musical reminder that as long as the heart beats there is always the strength to move forward.
