
Olivia Addams
Biography
Olivia Addams, born Adriana Livia Opriș on 17 September 1996 in Bucharest, is a Romanian singer and songwriter.
She discovered music very young, joining the Allegretto children’s choir of Bucharest at age three; with that ensemble she performed for fourteen years worldwide, notably in Japan, the United States, China and across Europe. After studying German, she began her music career.
Her first solo single, Sick Lullaby, was released in 2019 and achieved significant success in Ukraine. The same year she joined the group Jealous Friend, with whom she recorded tracks such as Who's Gonna Love You (with Jesse Zagata), In My Mind and Cold.
The year 2020 marked a turning point with the single Dumb, which reached number 9 on the charts in Poland. She followed with releases like Fish in the Sea, Are We There? and the Christmas single Merry Tik Tok, a duet with Romanian dancer Emil Rengle. She also continued collaborating with Jealous Friend on songs such as Wanna Say Hi (with Bastian) and Himalayas (with Tobi Ibitoye).
In 2021 she released the singles Stranger and Heart Attack, the latter in collaboration with the Romanian group Akcent. The same year she traveled to Poland to appear on several television and radio shows and sang a duet with artist Sanah on the track Invisible Dress.
Alongside her solo career, since 2021 Olivia Addams has been a member of the jury of the Romanian music show Hit Play alongside Speak and Marius Moga.
