Willy William
Biography
Willy William, born Willy Fauade William, is a French DJ, music producer, singer and songwriter of Jamaican, Ethiopian and Guadeloupean descent.
He first gained recognition in 2003 through his work with DJ Flex on the dancefloor hit B Boyz Shake da Body, then in 2004 as the producer of the group Tragédie under the pseudonym ‘Lord William’.
He later joined the French musical collective Collectif Métissé while continuing to produce his own material. His career is marked by club remixes and numerous vocal collaborations with various dance artists.
His musical style draws from French house, hip hop, R&B, zouk and dancehall.
