Future Breeze

Future Breeze

Biography

The German duo Future Breeze was formed in 1995 in Essen by DJs and producers Markus Boehme and Martin Hensing. Their musical journey began modestly on an old computer before they decided to develop their project further.

Originally known as Synthetic Compulsion, the project permanently adopted the name Future Breeze with the release of its first single, Read My Lips. This track earned them their first recording contract the same year and entry into the national dance charts.

International success came in 1996 with the hit Why Don’t You Dance With Me, which reached number 14 on the German charts and became a cult favorite. Subsequent singles, How Much Can You Take and Temple Of Dreams, also enjoyed strong reception on dancefloors worldwide.

Alongside their own productions, Future Breeze built a solid reputation through numerous remixes, notably for the track Encore Un Fois, which reached number two on the UK sales chart in 1997.

In 2021, Markus Boehme and Martin Hensing announced that producer Vincent Price had joined the group.
