Alex Messina
Biography
Alex Messina discovered his passion for music at age ten when he picked up his first guitar. That initial experience led him to deeply explore melodies, rhythms and grooves, continually driving his learning.
His musical world is nourished by the artists he listened to in his youth — Pink Floyd, Super Tramp, Depeche Mode, Moby — whose influence can be heard in his current creations. His curiosity also led him into production: he studied waveforms and frequencies meticulously to become an expert in audio mastering.
He describes himself as an artist fluid across the genres he creates and that inspire him, seeing this as an opportunity for experimentation. His approach is to merge different styles, for example combining classical instruments with dance rhythms like techno, bass or progressive music.
Among his previous releases, tracks such as ‘My Self’ and ‘Gears of War’ met with considerable success, attracting attention from renowned international media like The Rave Exchange, Hypestorm and iHouseu. His artistic mission is to fuse past and present to bring new sounds and atmospheres to life.
